Hinged Mini Tin Storage Boxes — Silver Metal Rectangular, 6-Pack
Product description
High-quality construction: Each container is fashioned from tin-plated steel using an integrated deep-drawing process, so the base is formed as a single sealed piece to reduce the chance of leaking. The metal is thin and light yet built for repeated use, making the tins easy to carry in a pocket or bag.
Dimensions and build: Individual tins measure 3.8" x 2.6" x 0.9" (L x W x H) with a material thickness of about 0.23 mm. The edges are finished to avoid sharpness. The lids are permanently attached to the bodies with hinges, so you won’t misplace tops. This listing includes six rectangular silver metal hinged tins.
Organizational use: The hinged design snaps closed reliably, and the flat tops are suitable for applying labels so you can sort contents by category. Use them as everyday storage for small household items and travel essentials.
Practical protection: The snug closures help shield contents from light and humidity, which can be useful when storing items such as pills, mints, candies, loose-leaf teas, or dried herbs. The fitted lids reduce exposure to air and light.
Versatile applications: These compact tins work well for lip balms, lip gloss, mini candles, cosmetics samples, nail art supplies, small sewing or first-aid kits, or any project that needs a compact, metal container. Their plain metal finish makes them easy to decorate or leave unadorned.

Packaging needs improvement
Tins themselves are fine, but they arrived in a thin envelope and three of the six were dented. The hinges snap closed well, but better shipping protection would help.

Nice build and consistent gold coloring inside and out. A great little treasure box for kids to personalize.

Ideal for pocket tarot decks
Measured specifically for small deck storage and it’s a perfect fit. The hinge ridge helps keep it closed. Some arrived with slightly bent hinges but were easy to bend back; afterwards they held fine.

Perfect mint-size notion tins
Excellent substitute for mint tins to hold crochet notions—needles, stitch markers, small scissors. Lids stay attached and construction is solid. The darker gold finish looks nice.

Well made, a bit small for me
Too small for my original intent but very well made—lightweight and easy to open. I’ll find other uses for them.

Works as a tiny paint palette
I converted one into a small watercolor palette. It holds eleven Beam Paints stones snugly with a waxed cotton lining—great little container for paint stones.

Better fit than my old candy tin
I’d been using a similar candy-style tin for a small radio and earbuds. These arrived with slightly crisper corner geometry, which gave a bit more internal room. Both radio and earbuds now pack in comfortably even though the outer dimensions match the old box.

Works for making char cloth
I tested these for producing char cloth. Punching a tiny hole in the lid makes a big difference—charred nicely in about 15 minutes on a gas grill with the lid closed using 6–8 layers of cotton cut to the tin’s interior.
