Elikliv EDM4C Digital Coin Microscope with Integrated Scale
Product description
Integrated microscope and weighing scale: The EDM4C merges a digital microscope and a precision weighing sensor into a single unit so you can both inspect and weigh coins, jewelry and small metal pieces without switching devices. The system reads in 0.1 g increments with an advertised accuracy around ±0.5 g, making it suitable for grading, metal verification and quick authenticity checks.
Optical and display details: The unit offers a broad magnification range from about 2× up to 1000× and presents images on a 4.3-inch IPS LCD with strong 500 cd/m² brightness and a 178° viewing angle to preserve color and detail from off-center views. The camera supports still images and video capture for documentation and reference.
Mechanical build and lighting: Built around an 8-inch gear-driven metal stand with an enlarged, stable base and an all-metal support rod, the microscope provides greater vertical clearance for larger specimens and steady positioning. A ring of adjustable LED lights around the lens supplies even illumination and brightness control for revealing fine surface features.
Connectivity and power: The device connects to Windows and Mac computers over USB for live display, recording and larger-screen review. It runs from an internal rechargeable battery for portable use, and ships as a self-contained inspection kit with the microscope head, the metal stand/base assembly, USB cable and basic manual — ready for field or bench use.
Pros
- Built-in scale and microscope combined
- Bright 4.3" IPS screen with wide viewing angle
- Sturdy 8" metal stand for stable inspection
Cons
- Not a professional-grade laboratory microscope
- LED brightness control could be more flexible
- Battery life is limited for extended sessions
VerdictA practical, all-in-one instrument for collectors and hobbyists: it pairs magnification with a precise scale, offers a bright 4.3" IPS display and a sturdy 8" metal stand, and supports Win/Mac USB connection and portable battery use. Good value for non‑professional inspection and cataloging.

User-friendly and portable
Good clarity and strong zoom. Screen works well alone or via laptop. MicroSD slot for saving images is handy. Battery charges quickly but typically lasts around 1–1.5 hours depending on use. Would like more flexible light dimming, but overall enjoyable to use.

Good hobbyist tool — manage expectations
Works as expected for a budget unit; don’t expect professional lab performance. Bought as a gift and tested first: assembly was simple, zoom and focus operate smoothly, and the small screen looks sharper than anticipated for this class of device.

Promising first impressions
Just unpacked and assembled it; powered on briefly to check functionality. The screen handles 640×, 720p and 1080p output and the image is clear enough for watch and coin workbench tasks. The LED ring provides ample light, and the unit seems well suited to stationary inspection rather than fast-moving scenes.
