Product description

Materials and clarity:
The coin capsules are molded from thick, high-clarity PS plastic designed to resist dust and slow oxidation, giving a transparent display that showcases both obverse and reverse. Each capsule sits neatly in its compartment within the organizer box, keeping your collection orderly and visible.

Opening and closure:
Each capsule features a crescent-shaped notch along the rim to make prying the lid easier. The lid and base snap together firmly to reduce dust ingress and provide a secure fit so coins remain protected during handling and storage.

Foam gasket options:
This set includes EVA foam pads with pre-cut rings in five diameters — 17mm, 20mm, 25mm, 27mm and 30mm — so you can accommodate a wide variety of coin sizes. The rings separate from the foam sheets cleanly, and once seated inside the capsule they help stop coins from sliding and getting scratched.

Uses and compatibility:
The clear capsules are suitable for many circulation and commemorative pieces such as quarters, dollars, pennies and small challenge coins. Note that coins with diameters slightly above 30mm (for example 30.61mm half dollars) will not fit inside these 30mm capsules.

Package contents:
The kit ships with 240 clear 30mm coin capsules, 240 EVA foam gaskets in the five sizes listed above, and two plastic storage boxes with molded compartments to hold the capsules securely.

How to use:
Peel or pop out the foam rings you need, place the coin inside the ring within the capsule base, then snap on the lid using the crescent notch for leverage. Store assembled capsules in the provided organizer boxes for transport, display, or long-term protection.

VerdictThis kit delivers a large quantity of durable, crystal-clear coin capsules with a useful range of foam ring sizes and two compartment boxes for tidy storage. The snap-fit lids and EVA gaskets protect coins from dust and movement. Keep in mind very large coins (30.61mm half dollars) won’t fit and some capsules close rather tightly, but for most collectors this set is excellent value and convenience
