FXW Homeplus 32" Indoor Dog Playpen — 6-Panel Pet Fence
Product description
What’s included and size: The kit ships with six interlocking metal panels that together form a 32-inch-high playpen suitable for small and medium dogs. The assembly lets you arrange the panels into different footprints to fit corners, hallways, or open rooms.
Materials and finish: Each panel is built from durable metal with a protective, wipe-clean coating that resists scratches and hides wear. The panels are smoothed to eliminate sharp edges, and rubber or silicone feet protect floors from scuffs.
How it’s used: The pen features a low-profile, threshold-free gate for easy human access and quick cleaning, while still allowing pets to move freely without feeling boxed in. It folds and reconfigures easily, making it useful for training, napping, travel within the home, or creating a secure play area when you can’t supervise.
Pros
- Tall 32" height gives better containment
- Flexible layout — panels connect in multiple shapes
- Protective feet and smooth finish guard floors
Cons
- Door latches can be awkward to operate one-handed
- May need extra panels for very energetic or large jumpers
- Heavier than thin wire pens, so not ultra-portable
VerdictA solid option for owners who want a taller, adaptable indoor enclosure for small to medium dogs. The six panels assemble quickly into multiple shapes, the metal panels are finished to resist wear and wipe clean, and the threshold-free door simplifies entry and cleaning. It’s roomy enough for bedding and bowls, stable for calm to moderately active pets, and designed to protect floors with nonmarki

Great product and responsive support
The 24" option has suited my two dogs well. I liked the first 8-panel setup so much I ordered another 6-panel ring. One gate had an alignment issue but the company resolved it promptly. Solid construction, flexible layout, and simple assembly — the dogs are comfortable and the fence holds up.

Sturdy and simple — watch the first step
Assembly is straightforward and the pen is solid once built. Tip: start with the panel that has the door so the rest lines up evenly, otherwise the frame can skew and need redoing. Keeps my senior dog contained at night. If your dog is very energetic they might be able to push or jump it, so keep that in mind.

Perfect for apartments and routine use
I bought this after moving to a place without a dog door. My dogs adjusted quickly and now prefer to rest in it when they’ll be left alone. There’s room for bedding, bowls, and some movement. It folds into different shapes to fit rooms, feels solid, and gives me peace of mind that nothing will fall on them.

Assembles in seconds — very pleased
I was surprised how fast it went together. The gate opens easily, the materials look quality, and rubberized feet keep it in place. It’s attractive, practical, and I’d recommend it to others.

Ideal for puppy containment and naps
I bought two units for our cocker spaniel puppy to keep him away from cords while I work. The six panels snap together easily and you can reshape them as he grows. The open-top design gives him room to breathe so he isn’t overly confined but still feels secure. It’s very sturdy — no worries about it tipping — and the panels adapt to whatever layout we need.

Well-made and attractive, with one small gripe
This pen looks nicely finished and feels durable — not cheap. Setup is quick and the silicone pads on the feet protect my floors. My only annoyance is the double-latch on the door; it’s awkward to open using one hand. Otherwise it’s the perfect size for a small dog and I’m considering adding extra panels.

Worth buying twice — no more jumping out
We replaced a short 24" wire pen with this taller model after one of my dachshunds learned to leap out. The added height solved the problem, and the coating wipes clean and feels high quality. It’s much easier to use than folding wire pens; the gate lets you step in without straddling, which was a lifesaver during my pregnancy. Durable, well-made, and a big upgrade from cheap wire options.
