Heavy-Duty Maple Clothespins — Pack of 10
Product description
A clothespin you’ll actually enjoy using. This sold set contains ten handcrafted clothespins turned from solid hardwood maple and assembled in the United States.
Each pin is fitted with a heavy-duty stainless steel spring—custom sized for a strong bite—and the jaw spacing is wide enough to accommodate a standard 1/2" dowel or thicker line. One properly positioned pin will hold roughly five pounds, so a few of these easily secure bulky items like rugs, comforters and denim.
These pins are intended for outdoor clotheslines, camping, household use and craft projects. The bodies are finished with linseed oil; the finish soaks in and cures, so it won’t transfer to fabric. Because they’re handworked, individual pins may vary slightly in grain, color or exact dimensions, which is part of their character.
Every package ships with a lifetime guarantee against defects. Attractive as well as functional, they combine durable materials and traditional construction for long service.
Pros
- Strong grip—holds about 5 lb each
- Hardwood maple with stainless spring
- Lifetime replacement guarantee
Cons
- Higher upfront cost than throwaway pins
- Larger than standard household pins
- Handmade pieces may vary slightly
VerdictThese are robust, American-made wooden clothespins designed for real work. The solid maple body and a heavy-duty stainless spring give a firm grip—each pin can support about five pounds—so they hold bulky items and stand up to wind. The linseed finish cures into the wood and won’t rub off on clothing. You get ten handcrafted pins per set and a lifetime replacement promise, though slight variations

Reminds me of the good old days
Highest quality pins I’ve found—like the ones from decades ago. They’re not cheap, but you won’t regret them.

Exceptional product
Bought two packs and am very happy. Tough, well-built pins that should last a long time.

Superb craftsmanship
Clearly made with care. The spring is beefy, the finish smells mildly of linseed (not chemical) and they feel very substantial. Free replacements if one breaks is a nice touch.

Exactly what I needed after my dryer died
When the dryer stopped, I switched to line drying and needed reliable pins. The imported ones fell apart, but these maple pins are solid and heavy—no sliding springs or breakage. Glad I found them here.

Sturdy and large — perfect for heavy items
These are almost twice the size of regular pins with a very strong spring. In windy coastal weather they held comforters and rugs with just a couple of pins. Worth the investment; I’ll buy more.

Expensive but effective
These hold up great in windy spots—haven’t lost anything since using them. Pricey for wood, but very strong.
