Pasta
Round & Square Ravioli Stamps with Wooden Handles — 2.5" and 2"
Product description
This two-piece ravioli stamp set is designed to cut and seal filled pasta in a single action, producing uniform pieces with traditional fluted borders. The set contains a larger fluted round stamp that measures 2.5 inches across (product footprint roughly 2.5 x 2.5 x 4.5 inches) and a smaller fluted square stamp that measures 2 inches across (about 2.75 x 2.75 x 4.25 inches overall). The faces are chrome-plated zinc alloy for a clean cutting edge and light-weight durability, and each tool is fitted with a rounded wooden knob to give a steadier, more comfortable grip during repetitive pressing. To care for the set, hand wash in warm, soapy water and dry thoroughly before storing.
Using the stamps is straightforward: roll pasta dough to your preferred thickness, lay a base sheet, cut the shape, add a small spoonful of filling, place a second sheet of dough over the top and press firmly with the stamp to seal and trim in one motion. The classic fluted edge both creates an attractive presentation and helps form a tighter seal, reducing leaks during cooking. Fillings range from ricotta-and-spinach and roasted vegetables to seasoned meats, seafood blends or sweet fillings like mascarpone or chocolate. The compact footprint makes these stamps easy to tuck away between uses.
Beyond filled pasta, the cutters double as handy tools for cookies, small pastries and decorative dough projects for holidays and gatherings. Because they are manual presses, they work best with a light dusting of flour on the dough and moderate pressure—very thick doughs may require extra force or a final pass with a knife to cleanly separate pieces. The combination of metal cutting faces and wooden handles aims to balance cutting performance with comfortable handling for home cooks.
Pros
- Cuts and seals in one press
- Comfortable wooden knobs
- Two classic shapes for versatility
Cons
- Requires firm pressure on thicker dough
- Hand wash only due to wood handles
- Manual stamping can be repetitive for large batches
VerdictA straightforward tool for home pasta makers who want consistently shaped, sealed ravioli without complicated molds. The pair of fluted stamps—one 2.5-inch round and one 2-inch square—creates attractive edges and holds fillings securely when pressed properly. The chrome-plated zinc alloy cutting faces are paired with rounded wooden handles for better grip, though some users may need to press firml

Gift for a beginner
Bought as a present for a young cook. I haven't tried it personally, but it looks well made and the heart shape should be fun for a teen learning to make ravioli.

Perfect for Valentine’s
Made red beet-dyed pasta hearts and filled them with ricotta and Swiss chard. The stamp sealed and trimmed each heart cleanly; the process was quick and straightforward.

Beautiful results
Nice "seal" for ravioli. Press firmly for clean edges. Slightly larger than expected but very well made. Made in Taiwan.

Practical for home use
Great for homemade ravioli—good quality and easy to use for small family portions. Making very large quantities can become a bit tedious.

Easy to use with a small finishing cut
I expected poor cutting based on other comments, so I pressed the stamp and finished the outline with a paring knife. It’s simple to operate and produces good-sized ravioli. Would recommend for hobby use.

Just okay for long sessions
Lightweight and economical, but I had to press and twist hard to cut thin dough. No instructions came with it, and my hand got sore after only a few pieces—fine for small batches, tiring for many.

Worked well for my pasta
Performed nicely for the dough I made. Because of the wood handle and metal face, I wouldn’t put it in a dishwasher. Now I just need a roller!
