Single-Channel Adjustable Pipettor 100–1000 µL — Ergonomic Micropipette
Product description
Ergonomic form and user comfort
The pipettor is shaped to reduce hand fatigue during repetitive use. A single-handed plunger and thumb rest are positioned for comfortable operation, and the plunger travel is deliberately light to ease repeated dispensing.
Visible and adjustable volume readout
A large viewing window shows the set volume clearly. Rotation of the top adjustment knob sets the target volume precisely within the 100–1000 µL range, and the scale is readable at a glance for quick changes between tasks.
Removable tip cone and sterilization note
The black lower tip cone can be taken apart for cleaning and can be sterilized by autoclaving at 121°C for 20 minutes. The upper body and remaining components are molded plastic and should not be exposed to autoclave conditions.
Calibration and maintenance
Each pipettor ships with its own calibration certificate and is designed for straightforward calibration and routine upkeep. User-accessible screws and parts allow adjustment without specialized tools, and manufacturer guidance covers common maintenance steps.
Range and options
This model is one of eleven available volume ranges from 0.1 µL up to 10 mL, covering micro- to low-milliliter applications. Typical contents include the pipettor, calibration certificate, and basic user instructions; compatible disposable tips are required but supplied separately depending on the kit.
Pros
- Comfortable ergonomic design
- Clear, large volume display
- Removable tip cone can be autoclaved
Cons
- Main body not suitable for autoclaving
- Fully plastic construction
- Not certified for clinical-grade assays
VerdictThis adjustable 100–1000 µL pipettor combines comfortable handling with a clear volume readout and light plunger action, making routine liquid transfers more pleasant. The removable black tip cone can be disassembled and sterilized at 121°C for 20 minutes, but the main plastic body should not be autoclaved. Supplied with its own calibration certificate and straightforward adjustment, it’s a practi

Accurate without the lab-brand cost
Clear volume markings, smooth adjustment, and consistent delivery across the 100–1000 µL span. The plunger is light for repeated use, and the removable tip cone withstands autoclaving.

Calibration issues on my unit
I attempted calibration but even at the screw’s limit the dial reads 4.7 when it dispenses 5 mL; at 5 mL setting it gives 5.34 mL. It also arrived factory-set much higher than labeled.

First pipette that saved me time
Switching from teaspoons to this pipette sped up routine measures. Set the amount and it dispenses exactly as expected—very handy.

Comfortable and simple to use
A straightforward introduction to pipetting. Changing volumes is easy and one-handed operation is comfortable. Accuracy needs practice and proper tips, but the build feels solid.

Good for spotting TLC
I lack a high-precision balance, but drop sizes were repeatable between 0.5–10 µL. Bought it to spot TLC plates and it performs that task well.

Transforms aquarium sampling
I use this for collecting exact amounts of aquarium water for testing. Instead of awkward dipping and guessing, I just draw the set 10 mL and dispense into the test tube—much neater and faster. It’s not magical, but it makes a repetitive chore noticeably easier.

Ideal for reef tank measurements
Works well for aquarium tests and is better than cheap syringes. Don’t push the plunger to the second stop; press until you feel the soft stop and release slowly. Multiple tips would have been helpful.

Solid performance for hobby use
Handles measured transfers reliably. Not suitable if you need ultra-precise, publication-grade accuracy, but excellent for home molecular work where absolute perfection isn’t required.

Consistent when used slowly
Performs reliably as long as you release the thumb plunger slowly. If you let it snap back too fast it’ll overshoot; slow control gives exact, repeatable readings.

Stopped working quickly
I bought it less than two months ago and after only five uses measuring water it stopped functioning.
