12-Pair Maple 5A Drumsticks — 16in Practice & Classroom Pack

Product description

This pack contains 12 pairs (24 total) of 5A-style drumsticks crafted from maple. Each stick measures approximately 16 inches in length and about 0.55 inches in diameter, matching standard practice and lesson dimensions.

Made from lightweight maple, these sticks are intended for learners and everyday practice—easy to grip for developing proper hand technique and stick movement. The sticks sport rounded wood tips that produce a balanced contact on pads, snares, and toms, as well as on electronic drum kit surfaces.

A sanded natural finish reduces slipperiness and offers a straightforward tactile feel right out of the box. The finish and tip shape make these suitable for use on practice pads, acoustic snares, electronic kits, and general home setups.

Because the pack includes a dozen pairs, it’s tailored for teachers, school ensembles, drum clubs, and group lessons where extras and replacements are helpful. The quantity also makes it convenient for drummers who want spares for rehearsals or gigs.

These sticks are designed for practice and starter training; players seeking a heavier, denser, or more durable professional stick may prefer other wood types or higher-grade models.

Pros

  • Large 12-pair pack provides lots of spares
  • Lightweight 5A maple is beginner-friendly
  • Rounded wood tips and sanded finish for everyday use

Cons

  • Not as durable as premium or denser sticks
  • Too light for drummers wanting a heavier feel
  • Finish and sizing can vary between sticks

VerdictA practical bulk option for students, teachers, and casual players who need many reliable practice sticks. Lightweight 5A maple gives comfortable control, rounded wood tips deliver a warm feel on pads and drums, and the 12-pair quantity suits classrooms and backups. Not aimed at players wanting a very dense or long-lasting professional stick.
