Simple setup, sturdy feel
This lamp arrived mostly assembled. The base and wiring were complete; the shade needed snapping together with its top and bottom rings and a Velcro closure. The shade fabric is linen-like with a light plastic liner inside. I did not need to do any electrical work—just attached the shade and screwed in a bulb. To my surprise, a bulb was included in the package which was a nice touch. The ceramic base has a rustic, clay-like gray finish and feels heavy and stable. Overall it’s durable, attractive, and easy to get running.
