30" Foam Door Draft Stopper for Small Bedroom Doors — White
Product description
What you get: a single fabric-sleeved foam draft stopper sized for small interior doors. The core is a 2-inch diameter foam rod inside a removable cloth cover with end detailing that helps keep the foam in place.
Sizes and fit: the full length is 30 inches, and the foam diameter is 2 inches. This design will seal gaps of about 0.5 to 1.7 inches and is intended for door thicknesses from 1.375 to 1.75 inches. If your door is shorter, the foam can be cut so the stopper fits doors from roughly 24 to 30 inches.
Materials and construction: a soft textile sleeve encases a dense foam cylinder. The sleeve slides open so the foam can be inserted or trimmed, and the assembly is made to glide under the door without sticking or leaving residue.
How to use: slide the stopper along the bottom edge so the fabric wraps around the gap; it travels with the door when opened and closed, so you don’t need to reposition it. It blocks drafts year-round, helps keep conditioned air inside, reduces dust and odors, and can lessen noise coming from under the door. Note: it’s intended for interior use and white covers will not block light; not suitable for exterior doors with a threshold.
Pros
- Seals 0.5"–1.7" gaps with a 2" foam core
- Easy to install and trim without adhesives
- Moves with the door and won’t harm finishes
Cons
- Not designed for exterior doors with thresholds
- White fabric won’t prevent light seepage
- Limited at reducing noise from thin doors or walls
VerdictThis 30" foam-based door seal is an affordable, simple fix for interior doors that suffer from bottom gaps. It includes a soft fabric cover and a 2" diameter foam rod that seals a range of gap sizes and door thicknesses; you can trim it to size for doors between 24"–30". Installation is tool-light and the tube moves with the door, avoiding damage from sticky products. It reduces cold drafts, limit

Slides under easily
Simple to trim and install. Does a solid job keeping sound out.

Disappointed 1/5
Poor quality control
Product felt cheaply made and inconsistent. One of the two I ordered had a sleeve sewn too small, making insertion difficult. Took far longer than it should have. Disappointed in the finish.

Functional though not stylish
Doesn’t look as neat as the photos—the part that folds at the door opening sits unevenly. Still, it cuts drafts and reduces noise and seems durable so far.

Effective fix for tricky doors
Works well for oddly shaped or poorly fitting doors.

Great value and quieter room
My home office sits near noisy areas and this stopper helped a lot. The 32" size matched my door exactly, needed no trimming, and it stays put. I can barely hear the laundry now. Very happy with the build for the price.

Very poor, not as pictured
Completely different from the images. The item looked like a rough scrap of fabric with a thin filler inside. Very poor product and felt like a scam.

Incorrect diameter
The foam rod was much thinner than described. Not what I expected and overall quality felt low.

Does the job
Very easy to use. It fit my gap without any cutting and slides with the door. Closed up the big opening on my apartment door and hasn’t caused any trouble opening or closing. Arrived as pictured—would recommend.

Solid indoor draft stopper
A versatile option for sealing interior doors in apartments or lofts. Easy to assemble, snug seal, and the foam is the right thickness to block drafts. Air quality felt better after installation.

Quick to assemble and effective
I’ve had this in place a few weeks and it keeps the basement draft out. Setup took under five minutes — the foam slips easily into the sleeve. You can position the tie on either side of the door; it glides smoothly and covers the gap fully. So far the white cover has held up; I’d buy again.

Acceptable purchase
Good for drafts but not completely soundproof.

Highly effective for draft control
These sealers do a good job stopping drafts and deterring small pests, though they only cut down sound by maybe a quarter. Cutting to length is simple with a knife and tape measure; instructions are clear and fit is good. Measure your door before trimming.
