This package contains two 36-inch door snakes intended to plug air gaps at the bottom of exterior and interior doors or sit along window sills. Each tube is made from a woven synthetic fleece fabric trimmed with satin and is filled with a combination of lightweight nylon fibers and small cotton bags holding ground stone beads to provide weight and shape, similar to a beanbag.
To use, simply place a tube along the base of a door or on a drafty windowsill to block incoming air. The tube also serves to absorb and reduce noise passing under interior doors. When not in use, a woven satin loop at one end lets you hang a stopper from a doorknob for storage or to dry after cleaning.
The construction allows for either machine washing or hand washing if the cover becomes soiled. Because of its year-round usefulness, the door snake can help retain warmth in winter and keep cooled air inside during summer, contributing to lower heating and cooling demands. The low-profile design fits most thresholds and window sill widths while offering a straightforward, reusable approach to improving home comfort.

Works but tricky to fit
They do keep out some cold when placed on my windows. Sliding them into position is awkward, but once set (and left alone) they stay put.
