5-Pack Lens Cap Tethers — Elastic Keeper for DSLR & Mirrorless Lenses
Product description
What you get: a pack of five lens-cap tethers — each piece includes a small adhesive button (sticker), a short cord ending in a plastic connector, and an elastic band that slips over the lens barrel.
Materials and finish: the tether uses a flexible elastic band to conform to lens circumferences, a plastic connector for the cap attachment, and a sticky disc that adheres to the face of the lens cap. A black-and-white target sticker is supplied but can be removed for a uniform all-black look.
Fit and size: the elastic band stretches to snugly fit around most lens barrels, from compact primes to larger zooms. The cord from the band down to the adhesive disc measures roughly six inches, providing enough slack for practical use without dangling excessively.
How to use: peel the protective film and press the adhesive disc onto the center of your lens cap, slip the elastic band around the lens’ circumference, and you’re set — when you remove the cap it stays tethered to the lens instead of getting misplaced. The design works whether the cap has a factory loop or not. Buying multiples lets you outfit several lenses at once.
Pros
- Simple to attach and remove
- Fits most DSLR and mirrorless caps
- Five pieces cover multiple lenses
Cons
- Adhesive can fail after extended use
- Adds slight bulk to small caps
- Connector and band may interfere on small lenses
VerdictA simple, affordable solution to keep lens caps from disappearing. The kit includes five tethers composed of an adhesive disk, a thin cord with a plastic connector, and a stretchable band that secures around the lens barrel. They fit most DSLR and mirrorless caps and are quick to install. Expect occasional adhesive failures over long-term use and a bit of bulk on very small lenses, but for the pri

Handy little add-on
I didn’t realize I needed this until I tried it. Keeps the cap hanging on the camera and the tiny adhesive pad holds well. Easy to fit on my Fuji X-S20.

Keeps the cap attached
Simple design: loop the band around an object and stick the disc to the cap. Sticks firmly and the elastic stretches but stays secure.

Convenient but adhesive can be weak
Very handy and cheap, but the glue point is the weak spot. I’ve had a couple peel off — one after months, one within a week. Easy to replace or re-glue if needed.

Helps me a lot to avoid losing my lens caps — a wonderful little tool.

Good concept, tight on small lenses
Works as intended and I haven’t lost a cap since using it. Downsides: on smaller Micro 4/3 barrels the band can slip and occasionally hit the zoom ring; the plastic connector protrudes and can catch; a smaller adhesive disc option would suit tiny caps better.

Exactly what I needed
Bought these after misplacing a kit cap. They give peace of mind and save checking pockets. No frills — just an adhesive disc on a cord attached to an elastic band. Cord to disc is about 6 inches, so expect a bit of length with a cap attached.
