JOBY GripTight ONE GP — Universal Phone Holder & Flexible GorillaPod Tripod
Product description
Compact, foldable construction with a patented folding action makes this tripod easy to stash in a bag or pocket. The design focuses on portability without sacrificing the core functionality you need for casual photography and hands-free viewing.
The clamp uses a spring-loaded stainless-steel mechanism to secure smartphones quickly and release them just as fast. The holder is built to accept most phones, including models with protective cases, and the clamp’s tension is engineered for a positive grip.
The base consists of flexible GorillaPod-style legs made up of articulating beads and a rotating ball head. Bend and wrap the legs around railings, branches or poles, or splay them to form a low, steady platform. When opened the tripod measures roughly the size of a small handheld stand, making it convenient for travel and everyday carry.
Included: 1 x GripTight ONE GP stand (Black). Use it for selfies, timed shots, vlogs, video calls, streaming, and hands-free media viewing. The ball head lets you switch between landscape and portrait framing quickly; leg positioning is the primary way to stabilize taller setups.

Sturdy and long-lasting
I’ve used mine for years and it’s still working. With a bit of adjustment it grips most surfaces. Occasionally the legs pop apart but they snap back together and it supports both my phone and a lightweight DSLR.

Small tripod, big results
Around 6" tall, it’s perfect for my needs. The bendable legs let it sit almost anywhere and my iPhone locks in nicely — with a timer or video mode it’s easy to get good photos.

Durability concerns over time
After a period of use the leg sections became loose and floppy. Initially fine, but it degraded and lost some stability.

Good value for casual carry
Great little travel piece — light, versatile and holds position well. The ball joints are stiff at first but loosen with use. A handy backup when I don’t want bulky gear.

Struggles with larger phones
Disappointed — my Galaxy A71 is difficult to support, especially in portrait. The clamp can’t clear my case’s ring magnet, so I have to offset the phone. Wrapping legs around a chair was unstable and legs required a lot of fiddling to level.

Notable redesign — much improved
I had an older model that developed cracked, loose joints and wouldn’t fold flat. The new articulation is tighter out of the box and folds neatly to 90°, which fixes the old issues. Feels well redesigned and much more compact.

Dependable, adaptable phone mount
Rugged-feeling yet light — the clamp holds my phone securely and is simple to install and remove. The universal fit handles various phone sizes well. The angle and height adjustments take a bit of fiddling to perfect, but once set the mount stays put for calls, video and hands-free viewing.

Praktiskt och lättanvänt
Mycket användbar liten pryl. Justera benen så fungerar både liggande och stående bilder. Inte avancerad utrustning, men gör jobbet och är lätt för nybörjare.

Too small for some uses
Feels lighter and cheaper than expected and the legs and head are short. Works fine for horizontal shots, but gets awkward in vertical setups as the legs can get in the way. Clamp still fits an iPhone 13 Pro with a bulky case.

Kompakt und leicht
Kleines, sehr leichtes Stativ, passt in jede Tasche. Der Kugelkopf war anfangs etwas schwergängig, nach einigen Einsätzen aber nicht mehr. Zur Langlebigkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen.

Versatile and user-friendly
I use it on the sofa and in bed — it holds any position I need. The ball socket lets me switch to portrait mode easily. Plan to keep it and buy extras as gifts.

Compact redesign works well
The notch in the metal cylinder lets the ball joint fold neatly beside the legs, making it very compact. Legs are easy to bend and the spring clamp is simple to use. It can tip if set up tall, but lowering the center of gravity helps.
