9x12 Sisal-Texture Indoor Area Rug — Natural Fiber Flatweave

Product description

Color & design: This rug features a marled, flecked flatweave in marble and beige tones with a defined solid border. Actual hues may look lighter or darker in different light or on different screens.

Construction & materials: Power-loomed from plant-based sisal fibers, the rug has a textured surface and an approximate 1/2" pile height. Slight irregularities and subtle shade shifts are normal with plant fiber weaving and contribute to the rug’s organic character.

Sizes & what’s included: Available in multiple dimensions, including the 9x12 option, each purchase includes the rug itself (no pad included). The weave provides a grounding layer appropriate for large-format placements such as living rooms and dining areas.

Intended use: Designed to work in entryways, hallways, foyers, living rooms, and offices, the natural fiber look complements coastal, cottage, farmhouse, and relaxed contemporary schemes. It performs well as a base layer for furniture and layered styling.

Care instructions: Vacuum regularly using a setting without a beater bar. Attend spills promptly with surface blotting and avoid soaking the fibers; excess moisture can harm texture and structure.

Arrival & pad advice: The rug may arrive rolled and show temporary creasing — allow it to rest flat for a few days or reverse-roll briefly to help relax the fibers. For added comfort and to reduce movement, use a separate rug pad sized to the rug.

Brand background: The maker has a long history designing and producing rugs and home furnishings from its New York base, blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary patterns and functional design.

Pros

  • Durable sisal construction with natural texture
  • Versatile neutral look that suits many interiors
  • Low-profile 1/2" pile that handles daily traffic

Cons

  • May show color variation typical of plant fibers
  • Not plush — firmer, textured underfoot
  • Can arrive creased; needs time to flatten

VerdictThis natural-fiber flatweave delivers solid build and timeless, versatile styling. Power-loomed sisal gives it a textured, low-profile pile that stands up to daily use and suits casual to coastal decors. Expect natural color variation and a brief break-in period after unrolling; with routine vacuuming and minimal moisture exposure, it’s a practical choice for high-traffic rooms and homes with kids

    Still love it months later

I don’t usually post reviews, but this rug has held up to weekly vacuuming in a busy home. No shedding and the brief initial odor faded after a day. Makes the room look elevated; I’d give it more stars if I could.

  2. Shelley Niblock 5/5

    Excellent quality and practical style

Really pleased with this rug — sturdier than I expected and the in-person color matched the photos. Works well in a household with small children and hasn’t shown any issues with the backing. So far a strong value.

  3. Brody Pearman 5/5

    Highly recommend for busy homes

These rugs are great — naturally resistant to stains and the built-in backing keeps them put, even with a lively dog. They arrive a bit wrinkled and slightly scratchy, but both issues fade with time.

  4. Nicolas Didier 5/5

    Very good quality

Very good quality, does not slip, and pleasant to walk on!

  5. Jason Lum 5/5

Perfect final touch for our remodel

Bought several sizes to finish a remodel and they tied the rooms together. The earthy weave adds warmth and settled flat quickly. It’s firmer than plush carpet but comfortable for daily use and brightens the space.

    Comfortable barefoot

I like the natural look — fits our living room well. Great quality!

  7. MAx 5/5

    Looks very nice

Excellent quality. The coating prevents slipping.

  8. LORME Marie-Priscille 5/5

    Nice and sturdy

Modern and attractive, seems well made. The cat approved it immediately and delivery was on time.

  9. Tee B. Smith 5/5

    Natural, organic appearance

Really happy with the look — the dark border gives it a polished edge. It’s not soft to the touch because of the natural fibers, but it fit my 8x10 office perfectly and chair casters glide fine. Rolled out flat immediately.

    Lovely rug, small dye irregularity

This rug looks beautiful and adds warmth. It took some time to flatten completely. One corner had a slight dye variation; returns weren’t possible for me, but the seller offered a partial credit. Overall a high-quality piece.

  11. Winfred C Ayscue 3/5

    Nice rug but persistent crease

Nice color and comfortable underfoot, but the center crease from packing never went away despite rolling and following the care suggestions. That permanent fold is disappointing.

  12. PS-Sylla 4/5

    Doesn’t slip and good color

Initially had a faint odor and needed to be flattened, but afterwards it looks lovely and feels pleasant to walk on.

  13. Isabelle Sharp 5/5

    Great look for the price

I ordered a large size on a budget and it looks high-end. A couple small wrinkles and a short initial smell disappeared after a few days. The rug is firmer than plush options but not overly scratchy on bare feet.
