   Solid Traction and a Clean Look for Wood Steps

   These added good grip and a tidy appearance to our wooden stairs. The grey is neutral, the polyester top is comfortable, and the TPE backing keeps them from sliding during normal use. Edges could feel a bit more robust, but they were easy to position and work well overall.

   Stays Put Even with Active Pets and a Child

   We installed these after new flooring and the dog used to slide. I was doubtful, but they’ve remained in place with a large dog, three cats and a child running on the stairs. They arrive rolled so edges curl at first and need time to flatten, but no adhesives were needed and the low profile prevents tripping.

   Effective but Could Be Larger

   These treads perform well and feel well made, giving good confidence on the stairs. They stay put and protect the wood, though I do wish each piece were slightly bigger to cover more of the step.

   Attractive Pattern, Adhesion Could Improve

   The pattern is lovely and gives much better grip for my handicapped daughter and our pets. They were simple to place and fit the steps nicely, but I wish the stickiness was stronger along the edges — those areas feel less secure than the center.

   Good Fit for Basement Steps

   I used four on our downstairs wooden stairs and they lay flat after about a day. The textured backing feels grippy and the included tape is a nice backup, though we haven’t needed it. The 8x30 size fit our risers well and they’ve performed as expected.

   Material is very soft underfoot and the treads look nice while functioning well. They can shift a bit on the floor—not enough to cause trips, but noticeable when moved across the surface.
