Compact Adjustable Handheld Mandoline Slicer — Ready to Use
Product description
Three fixed thickness positions let you choose 1mm, 2mm, or 3mm slices by sliding the thumb control—no blade changes required. This produces even flat slices for things like cucumber salads, pickles, onion rings, scalloped potatoes, and everyday vegetable sides.
A molded food holder with twin spiked contact points is included. Secure the vegetable in the holder and use it from the first cut to keep fingertips away from the blade; avoid letting the plastic body contact the cutting edge. The set ships with the mandoline and the holder ready to use.
The body is injection-molded plastic with a stainless-steel cutting blade that sits in the slicing channel. The compact footprint is intended for small-to-medium produce such as cucumbers, onions, potatoes, carrots, zucchini, radishes, and lemons. If an item is wider than the slicer surface, trim it into pieces that fit before slicing.
A built-in grip handle and a grooved bowl hook let you hook the slicer over a mixing bowl so slices fall directly into the container. It also works just as well over a cutting board or plate when a bowl isn’t available.
After use, rinse the unit under running water while keeping hands clear of the blade. Slide the control to the locked position to cover the cutting edge, then store it flat or hang it by the integrated hole. Because the blade is fixed in the body, there are no loose blades to organize or misplace.
Pros
- Three quick thickness settings (1/2/3 mm)
- Includes spiked safety food holder
- Compact, easy to clean and store
Cons
- Very sharp blade — must use caution
- Cutting surface is narrow for large produce
- Not ideal for very soft items or limited hand strength
VerdictThis compact handheld mandoline produces consistent thin-to-thicker slices with a simple thumb slider and no loose blades to manage. The stainless blade is noticeably sharp, so always use the included food holder. It’s great for cucumbers, onions, potatoes, carrots and similar sized produce, and it hooks onto a bowl for hands-free slicing. Downsides: the cutting surface is narrow for very large it

Handy but handle with care
Arrived boxed with the mandoline and food holder. The tool shows slice options and has a sliding lock. Blade is extremely sharp — always use the holder. Washed easily; a bit flimsy but works well for the cost.

Smaller than a full mandoline and easy to store. Limited slice choices, but a good inexpensive way to see if you need a larger model.

Saves time but guard could be bigger
Speeds up onion prep a lot. Wish the holder had a bigger cup; you often need to trim veggies to fit.

Extremely sharp, nearly paper-thin
Blade is razor-sharp and slicing is a pleasure. Depth settings and a safety retraction are handy. I wish it were wider for very large onions.

Efficient but not for soft produce
Cuts firm produce very thin and cleans up easily. Comes with a holder for finger protection. Not ideal for ripe tomatoes or leafy greens; the stub remains uncut so don’t try to slice it by hand.
