Magcubic Mini Smart Projector — Portable 1080P Auto-Focus Projector
Product description
Please position the projector about 4 feet from the screen to produce a 75" image for the best viewing experience. Before first use, update the projector to the latest firmware for optimal stability and features. If you encounter any problems, customer support is available.
This unit projects native 1080p images and accepts 4K input, producing clear detail and vibrant color. Audio comes from a built-in 5W speaker for everyday viewing; note there is no auxiliary (AUX) output on this model. The housing is lightweight plastic designed for portability, and the compact footprint makes it easy to move between rooms or take outdoors.
Auto-focus works quickly to deliver a sharp picture without manual lens adjustments, and auto vertical keystone correction keeps the image square when you tilt the projector. With 260 ANSI lumens of brightness and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio, it performs best in darker environments but still handles casual viewing in low ambient light.
Navigation is handled by an air-mouse remote that doubles as a pointer and supports voice commands for hands-free control. The projector includes built-in streaming apps and claims access to a large library of content without the need for an external TV stick.
Under the hood it runs Android 14 on an Allwinner H726 processor, enabling access to thousands of apps and smooth playback for most streaming and casual gaming. WiFi 6 (dual-band 2.4G/5G) provides faster, more reliable wireless streaming, while Bluetooth 5.4 lets you pair headphones or external speakers for better sound.
What's in the box: the projector unit, an air-mouse remote, power adapter, a quick start guide, and a basic HDMI/power cable set. The unit supports standard tripod mounts for flexible placement. For the best results, pair with external audio for louder viewing and keep the room dim to maximize contrast and color.

Perfect tiny projector for travel
This mini unit is a gem — extremely light and slips into my backpack easily. Tripod mounting was instant and picture quality is surprisingly good for the size. Auto-focus locks quickly, WiFi 6 streaming is flawless, and the 5W speaker fills a small room. Built-in apps and voice control make it great for camping and impromptu movie nights.

Decent but limited app selection
I rate it average mainly because the app store is sparse. I couldn’t find some region-specific apps I use, like Viki, so app choices feel limited. It’s fine for Netflix, Hulu, Prime and YouTube, but I wish there were more options.

Feature-packed and easy to use
Impressed overall — the auto-focus is fast and reliable so moving the unit is hassle-free. Native 1080p looks sharp and 4K content scales nicely. Built-in apps remove the need for extra devices. Wi-Fi 6 streams well, Bluetooth pairs quickly, and the voice-enabled air mouse is convenient. Setup took minutes and it’s portable enough for indoor or outdoor use. Great value for what you get.

A modern, practical upgrade
Found it via social media and decided to try it. I wanted something more current than older models, and this feels like an upgrade. Great for evening viewing before bed and can angle to the ceiling for comfortable watching while lying down. Lightweight and easy to move. Built-in speakers are serviceable for casual use; external audio is simple to connect when needed.

Good value but longevity issues
Update 5/16/26 — after about 10 months a faint burn spot appeared in the center and later the unit stopped projecting; only the fan runs and LEDs blink. For the price and how long it lasted while being left on overnight, it was still worth it. Update 3/24/26 — handled daily overnight use fine and worked well with a streaming stick; volume is low but a Bluetooth speaker fixes that. Update 2/1/26 — some apps (like YouTube) encountered playback license issues while others worked.

Best in dark rooms, good for teaching
Performs very well in low-light environments. Image quality is good overall, though the edges can be slightly soft on my unit while the center remains sharp. Generally excellent — I use it for all my classes and it serves me well.
