SUBSONIC 220 RSX RGB Gaming Steering Wheel & Pedals
Product description
What’s in the box: the SUBSONIC 220 RSX bundle ships with the 22 cm steering wheel, a set of analog pedals (accelerator and brake), connection cables and a user manual with console-specific setup steps. An official console controller must be connected for proper operation on supported consoles.
Compatibility and use: designed for PS4, Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC. This unit is not compatible with PS5. It is suitable for a wide range of driving titles, from open-world games to racing sims such as GTA, Gran Turismo-style titles, Forza, Dirt, WRC and Farming Simulator. Follow the included manual for the correct connection sequence per console.
Controls and features: the wheel integrates two joysticks so many controller functions are available without reaching away from the rim. The 22 cm diameter wheel offers 180° rotation and is fitted with paddle shifters for quick gear changes. Around the twin sticks and the main buttons are programmable RGB LEDs; buttons can be remapped and there are three sensitivity modes to tune steering response per circuit. A vibration motor provides tactile feedback when supported by the game.
Build and mounting: the body is molded from robust ABS with an ergonomic contour for improved grip during longer sessions. For temporary setups, the wheel fastens to most flat surfaces using a suction cup system. Permanent clamping screws for mounting to a cockpit are sold separately. Pedals rest on a base platform and are intended for casual to entry-level use.
Support and warranty: the manufacturer provides a two-year warranty and online after-sales support, plus firmware updates and troubleshooting resources in the FAQ section on their website.
Pros
- Affordable entry-level racing bundle
- Broad console and PC support
- Compact, easy to mount and program
Cons
- Not compatible with PS5
- Small 22 cm wheel may feel cramped
- Suction cups less secure than clamp mounts
VerdictA budget-friendly entry wheel that covers a wide range of consoles and PC. It delivers a surprisingly immersive experience for its size thanks to vibration feedback, paddle shifters and adjustable sensitivity modes. The compact 22 cm rim and suction-mount design make it easy to set up on many desks, but the small diameter and light construction mean serious sim racers may want to upgrade later. Go

Happy recipient
Bought as a gift and he loved it. Simple and exactly what he wanted.

Suction cups need improvement
The suction feet wouldn't hold on my table—even on a smooth top. They were useless for me; I'm looking for a better mounting solution.

Perfect for the price
Exactly what I needed. People recommend expensive setups but this affordable wheel surprised me—good rumble, solid steering and wider compatibility than I expected. Try it in several games; it worked for most I tested.

Plug-and-play, works great
Does what it says—just plug in and play. Sensitivity can be adjusted and it runs perfectly on PC.

Very good and fun
Performs as intended and is enjoyable to use.

Smaller than expected
Wheel is very small and doesn't do full 360° turns; pedals are too close together and suction cups aren't very reassuring. Fine as a starter for kids but serious players will likely upgrade.

Good for kids
Decent quality for children—simple, durable enough, and a suitable introductory wheel.

Versatile and compact for Xbox One
Lightweight wheel and pedals are easy to set up. No force feedback, but the USB connection is simple. Plugging your controller into the wheel makes it act like the left stick, which is handy for hopping between driving and on-foot gameplay. Worked well with MudRunner, Wreckfest and older driving-sim titles; also compatible with PS3 and Switch.

Great starter wheel for PC
Bought it to play GTA in VR and it handled it well for the cost. Tried Project Cars and American Truck Simulator in VR too and it improved immersion. Wheel is small but performs fine on PC; suction cups gripped my glass desk. I secured the pedals with heavy velcro and they stayed put.

Works, but underwhelming
Not ideal for long-term use. The wheel is tiny—smaller than my phone—so two-handed driving feels silly. Vibration is weak, pedals are flimsy and too close together. Buttons are fine but some center controls feel redundant. OK on PC but the build quality is cheap.

Flawed but okay for beginners
Cheapest set I could find and it did the job. Suction cups held on a smooth table—wetting them helped. Pedals are close with weak springs so fine control is hard; they can slide on carpet and may need propping. Wheel is small but functioned well with F1 2020 and Assetto Corsa on PC.

Detailed Xbox & PC impressions
Used on both Xbox and PC. Setup is odd—plug the wheel to the console, connect the extra cable to your controller, then power on. The included cable is very short (about 6 inches), which made keeping the controller on my lap awkward. Gameplay in Forza was solid otherwise.
