Zeolite Cat Litter Pellets — 18 lb Refill for Dual-Layer Boxes
Product description
This refill pack provides 18 pounds of zeolite cat litter pellets packaged as two 9 lb resealable bags for convenient storage and easy topping-up. Before ordering, confirm that your litter system accepts small spherical pellets and uses a dual-layer or layered design that separates liquid into a lower waste tray.
The pellets are formed from natural zeolite mineral, prized for its odor-absorbing properties. Each granule is roughly 4–4.5mm in diameter and molded into a spherical shape. The smaller, rounded pellets increase surface contact compared with larger cylindrical pieces of the same mass, helping them neutralize urine odors more efficiently.
The bags are sealed with a resealable closure at the mouth to keep unused litter dry between uses. A dust-reduction process is applied before packaging so the granules are virtually dust-free out of the bag. The round shape is intended to be gentler on paws and more inviting for kittens and adults that dislike harder, angular pellets.
Because the pellets are spherical they tend to roll rather than cling, which usually means less stubborn residue on paws and simpler cleanup with a vacuum. At the same time, their lighter, rounded form can be kicked or nudged out of the box more easily than heavier, cylindrical pellets, so some users place a small mat or border around the box to catch stray pieces.
Usage: pour the recommended depth for your specific dual-layer system, monitor the lower tray for liquid capture, and scoop solid waste as directed by your box instructions. If you have any quality concerns, contact the seller promptly for assistance or replacement options.
Pros
- Natural zeolite for odor absorption
- Comfortable spherical pellets for paws
- Two resealable 9 lb bags (18 lb total)
Cons
- Lightweight spheres can be kicked out of the box
- May travel farther on floors than heavier pellets
- Some users find them less absorbent than larger types
VerdictA practical refill option for owners of dual-layer litter systems seeking a natural, low-dust pellet with good odor control and paw-friendly spheres. Works well for many cats, though the lightweight round pellets can travel outside the box more easily than larger cylinders.

Solid replacement
Performs well as an alternative to Breeze-style pellets. I prefer these when using the scoop.

Round works best!
Round balls don’t clog and seem to perform well in the system.

Pleased so far
So far they match what I needed. Similar size and shape to other Breeze-compatible pellets — time will tell how long they last.

Cats prefer the round pellets
My cats took to the spherical shape over the original cylinders. They may channel liquids a bit differently than OEM pellets, but so far it's working well.

Smaller pellets, uncertain absorbency
My cat likes the tiny round pellets compared with the larger ones, but I'm not convinced they soak up urine as well.

Too messy — constant tracking
Not for me. My cat tracked small balls around the house; they get trapped in paws and fling out. Odor control was no better than other generics. Won't buy again.

Gentler on paws — cat uses box again
Switched from the prior pellets after my cat stopped using the box. These round pellets are softer on his paws and he resumed normal use. We added a small rug border to catch the stray pieces.

Mixed feelings
They cling to solids and are easy to scoop, but they roll everywhere and can be hard to vacuum. Lightweight and a little uncomfortable to step on.
