PERWIN 17-in-1 Stainless Steel Multitool Pliers with Self-Lock & Sheath
Product description
This multitool assembles 17 separate functions into a single folding device: needle-nose and regular pliers, a main pocket knife, a saw blade, scissors, a Phillips screwdriver, flat screwdrivers (3, 5, 6 mm), a wire cutter, a ruler, a file, bottle and can openers, a rope cutter, a wire stripper, and a threading needle. The implements are tightly integrated into the frame so tools nest cleanly and deploy without excess play.
The blades and working surfaces are fashioned from high-alloy 440A stainless steel, chosen for a blend of toughness and edge hold. The material is hardened to roughly 54 ± 2 on the Rockwell scale, providing a sharp cutting edge and effective resistance to rust and corrosion when cared for.
A side-lock mechanism secures each tool as it snaps fully open; only the plier head remains outside that locking scheme. The locking design reduces the risk of unintended closures during cutting or prying tasks, improving safety while you work.
The folded toolkit is designed to be compact—about 4.3 inches long, 1.57 inches wide, and 0.78 inches thick—while tipping the scales at roughly 0.66 pounds. Tools may be opened one-handed, and the pack includes a heavy-duty nylon sheath that clips to a belt or strap. The sheath closes with a high-grade metal rivet snap to keep the tool secure in transit.
Intended for outdoor and household use, this multitool works well for camping, fishing, hiking, picnics, cooking tasks, DIY jobs, and general emergency preparedness. It’s a practical everyday carry option for anyone who wants a broad set of functions in a single compact instrument.

Solid first impressions — will test long-term
Nice-feeling tool with a sharp blade out of the box. I tested the knife on a tomato and it sliced cleanly. Switched from another multitool and will use this for daily maintenance; I plan a longer-term report but initial impressions are very good.

Performs like pricier alternatives — solid and durable
This 17-in-1 does what many higher-end tools do. The tool selection covers common needs, deployment is smooth, and the stainless construction feels durable. The included case keeps it tidy in a drawer or bag. Good everyday multitool if you don’t want a big-name model.

Exceeded expectations — sturdy and dependable
Knife, file, saw and scissors feel solid and are large enough to use comfortably. Pliers fit the hand well and all tools lock positively. Nothing feels flimsy, and it stores securely in the sheath. Very pleased.

Perwin vs Leatherman Rebar — hands-on comparison
I compared this model to the Leatherman Rebar, which has a similar tool count. The Perwin adds spring-loaded pliers and includes a file the Rebar lacks, and I prefer the Perwin’s blade. Unlike the Rebar, the Perwin gives you four externally accessible tools (file/ruler, knife, saw, scissors) without opening the whole tool. The plier handles are comfortable to grip, whereas I’ve found the Rebar’s edges less pleasant on prolonged use. Both offer the usual extras like an awl, cap lifter, and can opener, but for my needs the Perwin feels like a smarter package.
