Kirecoo 12-Quart Stainless-Steel Stockpot with Tempered Glass Lid
Product description
What you get: a 12-quart stainless steel stockpot with a tempered-glass lid. The lid includes a vent to release steam while letting you watch progress without lifting it.
Construction: the pot is crafted from stainless steel with a reinforced five-layer bottom. The layered base combines aluminum, iron, aluminum and a magnetic outer plate to deliver rigidity and steady heat transfer. The base thickness is about 10 mm, designed to absorb and distribute heat quickly and evenly while resisting warping at high temperatures.
Handles and lid: the side grips are stainless steel and attached with rivets for a secure, long-lasting hold. The handles are shaped for a comfortable grip and remain firmly fixed during stirring or lifting. The tempered-glass cover seals well to conserve heat and moisture, improving cooking results for simmering and braising.
Interior finish: the cooking surface has a nonstick-treated finish applied through a specialized process to promote easy food release and fast cleanup. The interior is non-reactive so it won’t affect flavors during everyday use.
Compatibility and use: roomy enough for family-size soups, stews, pasta, and boiling or canning tasks. It performs on gas, electric, ceramic and halogen cooktops and is rated for safe use up to about 350°F. Note: this 12-qt model is not compatible with induction cooktops.
Pros
- Large 12-qt capacity for big batches
- Five-layer, 10 mm base for even heating
- Sturdy riveted handles and vented glass lid
Cons
- Not compatible with induction ranges
- Relatively heavy — water may take longer to boil
- Interior is thinner than premium pro-grade pots
VerdictThis 12-qt stockpot is a solid choice for large-batch cooking — soups, sauces, pasta and canning. The beefy five-layer base promotes uniform heating, riveted handles feel secure, and the glass lid helps monitor cooking without losing steam. It’s not induction-compatible and its heft means water can take a little longer to boil, but overall it offers durable construction and straightforward cleanup

Approved pot — beautiful and efficient
Stunning appearance and great size. The steel handles stay cool and food cooks quickly because the pot is a bit thinner than some other stainless cookware. I use it mainly on induction and have been enjoying it a lot.

Solid value, works with induction cooktops
Good performance for the cost and I prefer its shorter, wider shape for faster, more even heating. Plenty of room for big batches of pasta. It handled induction cooking without issue while my old aluminum pot did not.

Bigger than photos suggest
Looks smaller online but is actually spacious and well made. Wonderful pot.

Durable — replaced with a second one
Bought a second because the first lasted daily use for years. Only show of wear was some pitting after leaving water in it repeatedly with hard water. Great size for roasts and big meals; I’ve even done stovetop pot roasts and meatloaf. Handles stayed secure and the lid is excellent. Highly recommend.

Heavy-duty and cooks uniformly
I grabbed this in a hurry and it turned out to be a solid pick. It’s got real weight to it and the thick bottom makes good contact with burners for even cooking. Bigger than I needed for one meal but perfect for large soups and chilis. Browning meat and boiling sheets of pasta went smoothly with no sticking. It took a bit longer to reach a full boil than thinner pans, which I expected. The glass lid is handy and cleanup by hand is straightforward. Overall very satisfied with its performance.
