Teoon Wall-Mounted Hexagon Observation Beehive Kit (Medium)
Product description
Complete starter contents — ready to use
The kit includes three wooden frames fitted with wax foundation, one follower/divider board, and six reusable honeycomb trays. All components you need to begin keeping a small observation colony are provided in the box.
Acrylic viewing panel for close observation
A transparent acrylic front gives a safe, up-close view of inside activity. The panel is intended for educational observation and hobby study, letting you watch comb construction and bee behavior without opening the hive.
Space-saving, decorative hexagon with mounting hardware
The hive’s hexagonal case is designed to be mounted on a solid wall. Expansion bolts are supplied for secure attachment, turning the unit into a functional display that doubles as decor for indoor or protected outdoor areas.
Top chamber made for easy comb harvesting
The upper section holds up to six honeycomb trays arranged for easy removal. Trays are designed for tool-free extraction of comb honey, simplifying small-batch harvesting and routine management.
Built and sized for indoor use — fully assembled
Constructed from quality materials and shipped fully assembled, the unit measures 22.8" x 19.7" x 7.1" (approx.). Its compact dimensions fit most interior walls and sheltered garden walls where a medium observation hive is appropriate.

Lovely little observation hive
I'm very happy with the unit. I missed the active season, so I'll mount it over winter and have it ready for the bees in spring.

Solid first impressions — indoor or sheltered outdoor use
Unboxed it and everything feels sturdy. The acrylic front has a protective film that looks cloudy until removed; peeled back, the view is clear. Frames slide out on drawer-like runners which should help reduce propolising, and the follower board prevents comb behind the frames. Mounting hardware is included, but I plan to replace it with heavier anchors for extra security. The entrance setup is flexible: run a tube outside or route it through the wall to hide tubing indoors.

Attractive and functional, with a few limitations
The hive is well constructed and looks great on the wall. It arrives with a drilling template, basic mounting bolts, and options for entrances including a flexible tube that can go through a wall. The three included frames have wax foundation and slide out on drawer-style supports so inspections are easier. A follower/divider board is provided to control where the bees build, and there are six comb trays for producing comb honey. A cloth is also packed in the kit, though its intended use isn’t entirely clear from the instructions. My main concern is the frame size — they aren’t standard Langstroth frames, so you can’t swap in off-the-shelf frames.
