Product description

This kit contains two identical hanging feed troughs, each measuring 11.6 x 5 x 5 inches, ideal for holding grains, mineral mixes and other dry rations.

Each feeder is molded from polypropylene (PP), a resilient plastic that resists cracking and stands up to everyday use around birds and small livestock. The material is food-safe and easy to clean, helping maintain hygiene in your coop or pen.

To help you install the feeders, the package includes 4 mounting clips, 4 cable ties and 4 pointed screws. That gives you options: hang the troughs from wire mesh, secure them to a fence or board, or screw them onto a stable surface for a permanent fit.

By raising feed off the ground, these troughs reduce contamination from mud and bedding, limit trampling and discourage wasteful scattering of grain. They’re intended for chickens, ducks, geese and turkeys, and also work for smaller livestock such as goats, sheep, piglets, ponies and even dogs or deer in certain setups.

    I use these for grit and calcium in the run. They perform well, hang easily and hold plenty. I drilled a few small holes so rain drains out, otherwise they’re great.

    Easy to install and use

    Sturdy and simple to mount. We screwed them to the coop wall; hens can’t tip them and food waste has dropped.

    Lasted only one summer with my goats before they were broken. Clips are a bit weak—fine for chickens but not heavy chewers.
